Croki is the founder-native coding environment where direct Claude and Codex work, exact Review, and source-backed product context stay in one durable Thread. Canvas appears when seeing the relationships will improve the next change.
Local desktop alpha. Works on the real repository with the model subscription you already use. You approve every consequential action.

A prior Thread established that successful onboarding ends with the invited workspace open, not the account home.
Founder-adopted · source-backedInspect the diff, preview, and attributed checks before changing the project.
The next dependent task can reuse the accepted first-run context without another briefing.
How it works
Ordinary coding stays as direct and capable as a native coding client. Croki earns its place by preserving the exact understanding that should make the next dependent task better.
Start with the codebase you already use. Croki keeps the project, worktree, selected model, and exact Thread together.
Talk directly to the model you selected. Inspect its progress, correct the work in place, and keep the conversation as the permanent spine.
Diffs, files, previews, commands, and checks appear beside the Thread when they exist. Nothing is flattened into a status card or raw JSON.
Open Canvas when product structure, dependencies, decisions, or evidence will improve the next change. Close it without losing your place.
Come back to the same Thread, model, worktree, Review, and adopted product context. The next dependent task starts better grounded.
Diffs, files, previews, commands, and checks stay attached to the Thread that produced them. Croki shows the material to inspect instead of replacing it with workflow status, machine serialization, or a summary.
The model works. You stay oriented.
The verification is attributed to this exact checkpoint. Product interpretation remains separate from code proof.
What stays yours
Product context cites the code, founder decisions, and exact returned evidence. A generated interpretation stays provisional until you adopt it.
Each Run stays attached to its exact Thread, model, worktree, and founder direction. Croki adds continuity without replacing Claude or Codex.
Applying, sending, publishing, deploying, and spending stop at an exact founder-visible gate. Preparation can move quickly; authority does not move.
Run the current alpha on your own machine. Your repository, worktrees, Threads, and project context stay local. Connect the Codex or Claude Code subscription you already use and start coding.

Croki's verified alpha path is the local Electron desktop app on Apple-silicon macOS. Your product and working state stay local.
Connect the Codex or Claude Code subscription you already pay for. The deterministic scan still runs without one.
Before you clone it
Croki is a local coding environment for founders who work directly with Claude or Codex. It keeps every project, Thread, Run, exact Review, and useful product decision connected so the next change needs less explanation.
Direct Claude or Codex in the real repository, review the exact work, and let useful product context compound across every Thread.
